Spre deosebire de SEO, PPC nu imbunatateşte pozitionarea in listele organice (naturale, neplatite) de rezultate. Un site al carui grad de optimizare este scazut va ramane la fel si dupa renuntarea la campaniilePPC , ducand la scaderea drastica a traficului pe site. Ba mai mult, includerea paginii web in aria rezultatelor sponsorizate implica asumarea riscului de a fi total ignorati de o anumita categorie de utilizatori, despre care vom vorbi intr-un capitol viitor. Un nou plugin AdSense pentru WordPress

Am gasit un nou plugin AdSense. Se numeste Shylock AdSense plugin.

De ce este mai bun decat Mighty AdSense? Folosind Shylock AdSense plugin veti putea insera codul AdSense mult mai usor, fara a modifica tema WordPress. Mai mult aveti posibilitatea ca dupa un anumit numar de zile sa schimbati automat tipul reclamei AdSense. De exemplu, dupa 10 zile bannerul 480×60 sa fie schimbat cu 336×280. Astfel cititorii fideli nu vor fi deranjati de abundenta reclamelor. Pe langa asta cresc sansele de a obtine venituri suplimentare pe vizitele din motoarele de cautare.

Shylock AdSense plugin are un singur “neajuns”. Nu functioneaza cu pluginul AdSense injection. Va recomand sa il folositi fiindca a fost gandit foarte bine pentru monetizarea blogurilor.

Yahoo! propune Shortcuts pentru utilizatorii de WordPress

Portalul si motorul de cautare Yahoo ! ofera utilizatorilor de WordPress un plugin intitulat Yahoo! Shortcuts folosit doar de la WP 2.2 in limba engleza. Pluginul permite afisarea in doar 3 pasi a informatiilor intr-o fereastra separata : Flickr, Yahoo! Maps, Yahoo! Search, Autos, News, Financial Information, Products, etc. In banda din dreapta va aparea o fereastra (ce poate fi facuta mai mica sau mai mare) unde sunt indicate detectarile automate facute de Yahoo! Shortcuts la fiecare 60 de secunde. Atunci cand indicati o adresa, pluginul Yahoo! Shortcuts va sugera inserarea unei harti. Cand indicati o companie sau un produs, pluginul va afisa toate informatiile relevante. Yahoo! Shortcuts permite de asemenea si cautarea de fotografii JPG pentru blog cu ajutorul serviciului Flickr. Este o metoda comoda pentru detinatorii de blog-uri deoarece permite inserarea fotografiilor in mod automat precum si a indicativelor de copyright conform tipului de licenta al imaginii folosite.
